KILIMANJARO, TANZANIA

Climbing Kilimanjaro with Peak Adventures is an experience like no other. As a Muslim travel guide company, Peak Adventures has a unique approach to mountaineering that fuses the physical and spiritual aspects of climbing.

The journey begins with a five day trek from the lush forests of the lower slopes to the rugged glaciers of the summit. During this journey, Peak Adventures guides provide spiritual support and advice, focusing on the importance of the connection between body, mind and soul. The guides also provide physical support, teaching mountaineering techniques, offering physical training, and generally providing a safe and secure environment for climbers.

At the summit of Kilimanjaro, Peak Adventures guides lead a special prayer ceremony, to thank Allah for the journey and to ask for blessings on the climbers and their families. This ceremony is a powerful moment of reflection, as climbers look back on the journey they have taken and look forward to the new challenges they will face.

The Peak Adventures team also offers a uniquely Islamic approach to mountaineering, with a strict adherence to halal food and other Islamic principles. All Peak Adventures guides are well-versed in Islamic culture and tradition, providing a safe and respectful environment for climbers of all backgrounds.

Climbing Kilimanjaro with Peak Adventures is a truly unique experience. The combination of physical, mental and spiritual challenges, coupled with the unique Islamic approach to mountaineering, makes this an unforgettable experience.
